International Staff Mobility

International Staff Mobility is a new section under the Personnel Department in the Central administration.

International Staff Mobility advises foreign researchers, PhD students and administrative personnel at Copenhagen University on:

• Working conditions
• Residence and work permit
• Registration
• Bank account
• Taxes
• Social security
• Danish language courses and culture/leisure activities
• Child care and primary schools for accompanying children

International Staff Mobility also gives advice to researchers who are stationed abroad and to administrative personnel about relocation abroad.

Furthermore, International Staff Mobility processes working contracts to all foreign researchers and PhD. Students, except researchers and PhD. Students from the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

International Staff Mobility offers a variety of services for foreign researchers and Ph.D. students such as crash courses on daily life and courses in Danish.
