Data Management Plan Workshop for MSCA Fellows and other H2020 grant holders

Get started with your DMP

In this workshop, all participants will get to work on their own data management plan. First, we will introduce you to the Open Research Data Pilot and the FAIR data principles. Then, we will go through all elements of a data management plan following the H2020 template.

1-2 hours of preparation are expected of participants before the workshop.

In recent years, Open Science has become a central issue in Horizon 2020. This means that projects participate by default in the Open Research Data Pilot and have to make, and regularly update, a Data Management Plan during the duration of the project.

I addition to work on your data management plan you will hear about:

  • An introduction to Open Science
  • Open Access at UCPH
  • The FAIR data principles
  • The Open Research Data pilot
  • Data Management Plans (DMPs): the H2020 DMP template explained
  • What to include in your own data management plan
  • Who to contact at your faculty for help and guidance

The course is designed for researchers from all disciplines, who, within the first six months of their EU project, have to submit a Data Management Plan to the Commission.
