Dear All,

We are happy to announce the next event: EASTER KIDS EVENT

Denmark is a Christian country and Easter celebration is big in Denmark. As with the rest of the events, we will not emphasize the religious part,
but focus on all the weird, fun and hyggelige traditions that emerged from Easter.
At this event, we will once again meet in ISM’s loft and gather around creative activities.

This time we will:

Decorate eggs, with paint, glitter, feathers and whatever we come up with.

Plant cress in a little homemade container to take home to follow its growth.

Danes love to eat their rye bread with a soft boiled egg and cress on top!

Make Easter themed perler beads

Cut a ‘Gækkebrev’. The old Danish Easter tradition involves sending teaser letters with a riddle.
The paper cut-out includes a little poem or rhyme. The letters are sent anonymously to friends and family.
They are signed with dots that correspond to the number of letters in the sender’s name.
If you guess who sent it, you get an Easter chocolate egg. But if the recipient doesn't guess who sent it, they must give a chocolate egg to the sender.
