Amager Bakke also known as Amager Slope or CopenHill, is a combined heat and power waste-to-energy plant (new resource handling centre) and an 85 m (279 ft) tall recreational facility in Amager, Copenhagen, located prominently within view of the city's downtown.

We invite you to join our guided tour to Copenhill which will take you to the top of the slope by the elevator, where you will learn about the entire building: the architecture, the vision, sustainability, ski slope and the thoughts behind, all while you enjoy the view over Copenhagen and the ocean.

CopenHill's mission is to motivate their guests to be active together. They want to be the place, where families spend time together, where friendships are formed, where students have a safe haven, and where everyone from Copenhagen come to relax, train or have fun together.

The facility opened in 2017 and partially replaced the nearby old incineration plant in Amager. The recreational components of the facility (the dry ski run, hiking trail and climbing wall) opened in December 2018, with an attendance estimated at 42-57 thousand visitors annually. CopenHill was named the World Building of the Year 2021 at the fourteenth annual World Architecture Festival.
