Competencies – how to find them and communicate them to a potential employer? Our initial focus revolves around uncovering and effectively communicating your competencies and skills to potential employers. We'll kick off with a concise introduction, followed by hands-on exercises designed to map out your competencies and skills. The goal is to equip you with strategies for effectively conveying these qualities to prospective employers. Networking remains a key focus throughout the series, fostering informal connections. Others say: “It was very useful to hear what other people list down as my competencies from my success story because it is hard for me to extract skills from my own story and I tend to be more critical of myself or think the story is not anything special. Also having a method (PARR) to help me give a story highlighting a skill is very useful to prep for interviews.” Preparation Reflect on success stories from your life, this can be from work, study life, or personal experiences. Feel free to join this informal and cozy event where you will get the opportunity to network with other like-minded professionals and get inspired on how you can improve your material.
