Job Seeker Network Series 2023
Join us in-person for a spring filled with meetings, inspiration, and informative talks on efficient and exciting job seeking!
We know that being alone on your job search journey can be though, which is why we are starting the Job Seeker Network meeting series.
From the 4th of May through to the 22nd of June (excluding the 18th of May due to holiday), we meet every Thursday from 9.00 to 11.00 to focus on different aspects of job seeking together.
We will cover the following topics in the first four meetings:
- Competencies
- Networking & Coffee meetings
- CV
- Cover Letter
The remaining topics will be announced as soon as possible.
You will meet different facilitators during these network meetings:
- Mette Fog Skriver - Career Consultant for PhD's and Postdocs
- Diana Lund Nordstrøm - Dual Career Consultant
- Mary K. Kobia - Senior Global Mobility Consultant
These network meetings will be interactive, and you are expected to participate in the group discussion as well as in the meeting activities with other job seekers. Always bring the CV and Cover letter you are currently working on.
Be aware that you need to register to each of the meetings separately, and please only register once for each meeting. There are a limited amount of spots available, so if you are interested in attending, it is on a first come, first served basis!

Job Seeker Network - Series Network and coffee meetings – how to grow your network and connect to a potential employer. We are starting a new job seeker network for international spouses, PhD’s and Post Docs who are looking for their next job. Over the upcoming weeks we will invite you to participate in a flow of 2-hour workshops with focus on different important areas when looking for your next job. The topic of this workshop is network and coffee meetings – how to grow and activate your professional network. We will start with an introduction to network in Denmark and why it is important to grow and constantly nurture your network. Secondly, we will be very practical with exercises that will support you when you connect and grow your network in Denmark. This series is very informal, so feel free to bring your own coffee and snacks. Job Seeker Network - Series CV We are starting a new job seeker network for international spouses, PhD’s and Post Docs who are looking for their next job. Over the upcoming weeks we will invite you to participate in a flow of 2-hour workshops with focus on different important areas when looking for your next job. The topic of this workshop is CV – setting up a CV for the Danish job market. We start this workshop with focusing on the CV in a Danish context – dos and don’ts and important focus areas. Secondly, we will be very practical and make the time to work on specific topics for your individual CV. Please bring your CV in a print out format if possible. This series is very informal, so feel free to bring your own coffee and snacks. Job Seeker Network - Series Walk & Talk The summer can be a bit slow in terms of available positions to apply for. A lot of people are on holiday and traveling. It can be kind of boring to sit at home the entire summer and now you do not have to. Throughout July Job Seekers Network Series is turning into Walk & Talks. This way we can still meet up and talk about job search, or other things of importance for your well being and stay in Denmark. This series is very informal, so feel free to bring your own coffee and snacks. Preparation: Make sure to bring your coffee and use the facilities before we leave at 9 am. We will go for a walk around the city center while talking ant networking. |
