Each workshop will be conceptualised based on input from guest speakers, recruiters/headhunters, international spouses and expats. The workshops are interactive, solution oriented with individual tasks and provide hands on tools to apply in your professional as well as personal life. Feel free to join these informal and cosy events/workshops, where you will also get the opportunity to network with other like-minded professionals!

Please note that these workshops are for employees and spouses/partners of employees at UCPH. There are limited available free spots, so if you are interested in attending, it is on a first come, first served basis.

Imposter Syndrome - Calibrate and Combat

Imposter Syndrome is real, and it can effect anyone. It is estimated that 70 % of people will experience at least one episode of imposter syndrome during their lifetime. In this interactive workshop we will focus on what Imposter Syndrome is, why it occurs, who is more likely to experience it and how can we change our thinking to diminish and potentially eliminate Imposter Syndrome from our lives. We will also learn and discuss the 5 Competency Types of Imposter Syndrome. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness regarding the very important topic of Imposter Syndrome, acknowledge the reasons for experiencing Imposter Syndrome, discuss and learn about ways to combat Imposter Syndrome.

 

Together we will cover the following topics:

  • What is Imposter Syndrome
  • What causes Imposter Syndrome
  • Who is susceptible to Imposter Syndrome
  • How to combat Imposter Syndrome/Phenomenon

 

The participants will:

  • Have a clear idea of what Imposter Syndrome is and what steps to take to overcome it
  • Gain knowledge regarding the Competence Types of Imposter Syndrome
  • Discover and discuss tools to reframe Imposter Syndrome thinking
