WORKSHOP: Men* Building a Life After Relocation - Part 2

Making sense of transition after relocation

Relocating to a new country as an accompanying partner can bring more than practical change. While your partner starts a new chapter, you may be navigating a new job market, language, and culture — while also rethinking identity, purpose, and direction.

This second workshop builds on the personal action plans created in Workshop 1. Between sessions, participants will have explored a small, realistic action plan designed to address an area of uncertainty, isolation, identity disruption, or lack of direction in their lives after relocation. This workshop creates space to return and reflect on that experience together.

WHAT WE WILL WORK ON

  • Reflecting on your personal action experiment and what it revealed
  • Rebuilding confidence, direction, and momentum after relocation
  • Exploring practical ways to strengthen connection, structure, and purpose

PRACTICAL TOOLS & TAKEAWAYS

  • Reflection tools for understanding resistance, uncertainty, and motivation
  • Practical strategies for building routines, connection, and forward momentum
  • A revised personal action plan with realistic next steps for life in Denmark

WHAT PARTICIPANTS SAY

“George created a safe and supportive space to share our experiences openly… mentally it was very helpful for me.”
“It was nice to give and receive insights… it felt like a meaningful start.”
“I felt a sense of inner peace afterwards – like I had done something meaningful.”
