WORKSHOP: Men* Building a Life After Relocation - Part 1

Making sense of transition after relocation

Relocating to a new country as an accompanying partner can bring more than practical change. While your partner starts a new chapter, you may be navigating a new job market, language, and culture — while also rethinking identity, purpose, and direction.

This workshop creates space to explore the (often) unspoken realities of relocation and to better understand transition as a process of adjustment and reorientation rather than something to simply “push through".

WHAT WE WILL WORK ON

  • Understanding how relocation impacts identity, confidence, and motivation
  • Identifying patterns of isolation, uncertainty, and loss of direction
  • Exploring practical ways to rebuild purpose, connection, and agency

PRACTICAL TOOLS & TAKEAWAYS

  • A transition-mapping framework to better understand your current
    experience
  • Reflection tools for navigating uncertainty and identity change
  • A personalised action experiment to explore between workshops

WHAT PARTICIPANTS SAY

“George created a safe and supportive space to share our experiences openly… mentally it was very helpful for me.”
“It was nice to give and receive insights… it felt like a meaningful start.”
“I felt a sense of inner peace afterwards – like I had done something meaningful.”
