About the theme
Learning Danish can be a rewarding but challenging experience, especially with its unique sounds, cultural nuances, and distinctive intonation. This interactive workshop provides a safe and supportive space to explore the Danish language, build practical skills, and gain cultural understanding in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

Led by Jo Ebert Håkonsson, ISM’s experienced language consultant, the session will focus on fostering confidence, sharing knowledge, and empowering participants to engage with the Danish language at their own pace.

Together, we will:

Explore essential Danish phrases and vocabulary tailored for workplace communication, including emails, meetings, and small talk.
Practice real-life scenarios like introducing yourself, collaborating with colleagues, and handling professional challenges in Danish.
Discuss cultural nuances and unspoken norms in Danish work culture, helping you feel more at ease in a professional environment.
Share experiences and strategies for balancing language learning with work-life integration.
