10 Years of IDCN Copenhagen at UCPH

This year, IDCN Copenhagen celebrates 10 years of supporting international researchers and their families build networks, understand Danish work culture and find belonging through community, career insight and corporate connections.

PART OF A GLOBAL NETWORK
Founded in 2016 by the University of Copenhagen together with Maersk, Novo Nordisk, DTU and Ørsted, IDCN Copenhagen is part of the International Dual Career Network (IDCN) now present in 15 locations globally. Today, IDCN Copenhagen is proud to have 20 corporate members.

As a volunteer-run network, IDCN Copenhagen gives highly skilled spouses and partners a platform to contribute, build confidence and connect with peers, employers and Danish work life. Through corporate events, workshops, Job Cafés and volunteer projects, members gain insight, community and new opportunities.

For UCPH, IDCN strengthens international talent retention by supporting the whole family behind the researcher. It also gives spouses and partners a meaningful platform to use their skills in Denmark and connects UCPH with corporate partners committed to global talent and inclusive career development.
