About the event
This two-day in-person SARU event brings Ukrainian researchers together for social networking, professional exchange and research presentations in a supportive and informal setting.
You are welcome to join either one or both days.
Thursday, September 10th - Social Networking
Location: Ukraine House in Denmark

We are delighted to welcome you to Ukraine House in Denmark for an afternoon of conversation, networking, and community building.
The programme includes a guided tour of Ukraine House, refreshments, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow researchers, share experiences, and make new connections in an informal and friendly setting.

Lecture on Presentation Techniques
This lecture focuses on how to become a more engaging and confident
speaker and will cover:
- How excellent speakers prepare their presentations
- How to add more pathos to your presentations
- How excellent speakers use language tools to structure a strong delivery
- Why less is more with visuals
- How to activate your charisma in the room
- How to find your inner storyteller
- Nervousness and fear of speaking
