Employee records biometrics

When the application for residence and work is submitted, it is important to record biometric features at the nearest Danish Embassy, Consulate, or VFS Global Outsourcing Center within 14 days. The Danish Immigration authorities (SIRI) will not process the application until the biometric features have been recorded.

You must pay a fee to the embassy or consulate handling your application. You can read more about where to find the nearest Danish diplomatic mission (embassy or consulate-general) on Newtodenmark.dk and what you need to bring.

If you must submit your application at a Norwegian diplomatic mission with which Denmark has a representation agreement, you must submit two facial photos and show valid ID. After entering Denmark, you must have your biometric features recorded to receive your residence card.
