International Dual Career Network Copenhagen

About IDCN Copenhagen

IDCN Copenhagen was founded by the University of Copenhagen in March 2016, together with DTU, Mærsk, Novo Nordisk and Vestas. These organisations recognised that international staff are more likely to stay long term when their partners and families feel welcomed and supported in the local community.

Today, IDCN Copenhagen has 22 diverse Corporate Members, creating valuable opportunities for our Partner Members to build professional networks and explore career opportunities in Denmark.

As a Partner Member, you can take part in a wide range of events, workshops and courses, connect with other professionals, learn more about working and living in Denmark, and get actively involved in our dynamic network.

IDCN Copenhagen is a volunteer-based network, with partners taking an active role in organising events, supporting the community and contributing to the development of the local network. Volunteers work together through different teams and receive support and guidance from the IDCN Copenhagen Steering Committee and the wider IDCN network.

Volunteering offers partners an opportunity to use and develop their professional skills, expand their network and gain experience in a professional environment. It is also a valuable way to connect with corporate members and other professionals in Denmark.

Join the IDCN as a spouse or partner by submitting your interest using this link - and clearly mentioning the location and company for which your partner is working.

Corporate membership gives organisations access to IDCN’s local dual career support and connects them with an international talent pool. As a Corporate Member of IDCN Copenhagen, HR representatives can take part in local events, connect with other organisations and contribute to the development of the network.

Membership also gives companies an opportunity to strengthen their employer brand, support the partners of their international employees and help attract and retain international talent in Denmark.

If your company is interested in joining IDCN as a corporate member, you can sign up using this link.
